Back up, On a Budget
Generlink gives homeowners a safe, simple, and code-compliant way to connect a portable generator to their home without messy extension cords or costly sub-panels. Installed directly behind your electric meter, GenerLink detects when your generator is running and automatically isolates your home from the utility grid, eliminating dangerous back-feeding and letting you power the circuits you choose right through your breaker panel. It’s a smart, streamlined alternative that maximizes your generator’s usefulness and peace of mind during outages.

How it Works
Using a GenerLink meter-base transfer switch is simple and homeowner-friendly. When the power goes out, you first turn off or reduce large electrical loads in your home, then plug your portable generator into the GenerLink using the provided heavy-duty cord. Once the generator is running, GenerLink automatically isolates your home from the utility grid to prevent back-feeding. You can then turn on the circuits you want to power directly from your breaker panel, managing your load safely and efficiently. When utility power is restored, you shut down the generator, unplug it, and normal power resumes automatically.
